Description
The Wireless 2.4 Ghz USB Stick is a powerful and flexible Bluetooth solution for easy connection to a PC. In transparent mode, the device supports simple requirements such as point-to-point data transfer via Bluetooth. In contrast, the command line mode enables complex tasks such as software-controlled establishment and dismantling of point-to-multi point connections (piconet) to be realized. On the PC side, the result is complete independence in application programming from available and integrated Bluetooth stacks.
By dispensing with PC-installed Bluetooth stacks, increased throughput of up to 25% can be achieved. Users also benefit from more stable operating behavior and lower requirements on software and hardware resources.
Interfaces
Connection is via a virtual COM port or direct access via USB using the corresponding software API. Its USB controller (Silabs CP2102) supports USB 2.0 (full-speed).
